This is our journal for experiments with cocktails and cocktail-related concoctions. We’re not professionals, and don’t claim to be great at it, but we’re keeping track of what we come up with for the hell of it, and so the next time we try to mix a drink, we have a record of what worked and what didn’t.
On the right side of the main page is a list of all the ingredients, and we’ll try to tag every recipe with all the included parts, with the exception of things like lemon juice and seltzer water. So, if you were looking for something to try out with – for example – your Benedictine, just click benedictine on the right and all the drinks we’ve made that included it will come up. If you have any questions, just leave them in the comments.
Oh, and the early pictures sucked because Jen wasn’t taking them yet. The nice ones are all her handiwork.

If you’d like to send us any samples of your product, we’d be glad to give it a try and see what we can mix with it. Email either one of us and we’ll let you know where you can send it!
Hey Jen and Jon!
My good friend The Alemonger told me about your blog (he was at City Tap House yesterday afternoon). I’ve been poking around your blog a bit, and let me tell you, most impressive! While I don’t make cocktails too often, I am infinitely intrigued by them. Look forward to your future concoctions as well as reading about what you’ve done so far.
Cheers!

That’s awfully nice of you to say! Hope you continue to enjoy it, and if you ever have any suggestions, we’re always open to ideas!
Hello,
I am Ryan Carnall. I am interning at a farm to table restaurant in Ithaca NY called Coltivare, trying to start a revolution: FARM TO BAR.
I have decided to ruin my life by trying to make an all New York ingredient cocktail list. Its been a rough past few months without lemons or limes. I have already made a few drinks with shrub and verjooz to replace those citrus balls but I need about 3ish more cocktails to be complete. I was wondering if you had an suggestions or idea. I would love to send a paper of what I have done so far in return.
Its cool if you don’t, I still think you have an awesome website. But if you do, please just email me.
Cheers,
Ryan
